Members are required to sign a "Membership Agreement" (MA) which delineates the member's required cash and in-kind contribution. There are two levels of membership: Regular and Associate.

Regular Members pay an annual fee according to a structured schedule based upon their annual sales. Their membership entitles them to free, non-exclusive access to Center intellectual property, including all patents as described in the ERC/RMS Bylaws

Associate Members do not provide direct cash support of the Center and are not entitled to free access to Center intellectual property. They should, however, contribute in-kind services such as engineering time, hardware, or substantial equipment discount (over 50%).
