The ERC/RMS is pleased to announce Prof. Galip Ulsoy has accepted the role of Deputy Director, a position he previously held from the ERC's inception until December of 2002. In 2002, Ulsoy left to become a Program Director at the National Science Foundation in Washington.

Prof. Jun Ni will step down as the ERC/RMS's Deputy Director to assume the role, appointed by president Mary Sue Coleman, as the first dean of University of Michigan/Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU).
